Hard seasons in relationships are more common than we think.

Struggle doesn’t mean failure — often, it’s an invitation to slow down, understand one another more deeply, and reconnect.

— Rhylie
We actually hear each other — not just tell each other what we are thinking. There is now more compassion for each other.
— Matthew
The sessions have felt like a way to meet some longstanding issues head on, but in a safe and constructive way.

I believe every couple — whether struggling or not — should do these sessions periodically. It’s a powerful tool for building connection and understanding, especially for men!
— Ross
It has been really helpful to break through some big issues and understand why behaviors are happening on both ends. There is still a lot of work to do, but it is so helpful knowing we have you as a guide.

How I can help

Grounded in the transformative principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT), my approach offers a clear and structured pathway to healthier connection — whether you are working as a couple or as an individual.

For couples, this means slowing conversations down, creating emotional safety, and transforming reactive patterns into respectful, conscious dialogue.

For individuals, it means developing deeper self-awareness, understanding your relational patterns, and learning practical skills that strengthen all of your relationships — romantic, family, and beyond.

Together, we build the capacity for authenticity, compassion, and empowered communication that supports lasting resilience.

What to Expect

A brief overview of what our work together may look like, from your first session through to building lasting change.

A calm, supportive, and structured space

Every couple's story is different, so sessions are tailored to your relationship and goals. You'll be supported in a calm, respectful environment where both people have the opportunity to speak, be heard, and feel understood.

Getting to know your relationship

During the first one or two sessions, I'll ask questions to understand your relationship, what's brought you here, and what you'd like to be different. We'll explore your relationship history, important life experiences, family backgrounds, and sometimes childhood experiences, as these can shape how we communicate, respond to conflict, and connect with those we love.

Understanding what sits beneath the surface

As we build a picture together, we'll begin to notice the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. Rather than focusing on who's right or wrong, we'll explore the emotions, needs, and protective responses beneath the conflict, helping each of you better understand yourselves, each other, and the dynamic between you.

Learning new ways to communicate

You'll be guided through practical tools and structured conversations drawn from Imago Relationship Therapy and Nonviolent Communication. Rather than simply talking about your relationship, you'll practise new ways of listening, speaking, and responding during each session. Lasting change comes from applying these skills in everyday life, so you'll usually leave with practical exercises or conversations to continue practising between sessions.

Space for both perspectives

My role isn't to judge, take sides, or decide who's right or wrong. I'm here to help both of you feel heard while gently guiding conversations that build understanding, empathy, and connection.

Growing Together

We'll regularly review what's working, what's still feeling challenging, and adapt our work as your relationship grows. Every couple's journey is different, and we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.

"Cor" is Latin for "heart,"

And the root of the word courage.

Deep relational work begins with a courageous heart.

Hard seasons do not define your relationship.
